Last June we participated in the second edition of the PMI Award, promoted by the Digital Innovation Observatory in SMEs of the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic, where five awards were given to the best activities for digital transformation in Italian small and medium-sized enterprises.
Gatti Filtrazioni Lubrificanti was awarded the Honorable Mention for its project “Welcome to the future”. Thanks to the development and installation of sensors at customers, the parameters of the lubricant are monitored remotely. The anomalies are promptly sent to the operations center for immediate intervention.
The recognition aims to support and disseminate digital culture within companies, giving visibility to the most original innovation and digital transformation projects with the aim of promoting the circulation of excellence and emulation processes. “The awarded projects are important examples of small and medium-sized enterprises that have taken advantage of innovation to develop competitiveness using the digital lever – says Claudio Rorato, Director of the Digital Innovation Observatory in SMEs – . The awarded projects are a virtuous example of interaction between companies and their ecosystem, which supported them in the various design phases.
